If you love to be hands on with the animals, come and meet them at the shelter. Volunteers will be made welcome with waggy tails and sloppy kisses from the dogs and purrs and headbutts from the cats. We need volunteers to help exercise the dogs, clean out kennels and socialise the cats and kittens.

As we are in relatively new premises at our shelter at Callosa de Segura, there are still many building/maintenance jobs to be done around the site, so if you are handy with a drill or just happy to get stuck in and turn your hand to anything, we would love to hear from you. 

We urgently need more fit , able bodied volunteers to help on our van, delivering furniture sales from our shops, collecting donations and transporting items up to the shelter.

As a charity we rely solely on donations and fundraising. We already have a fantastic fundraiser organising events on La Marina Urbanisation, but we also would welcome anybody else across the Vega Baja area who could help organise fundraising events or collection tins. If you have any good fundraising ideas we would love to hear them.

Maybe you don´t feel able to give the long term commitment right now to an animal but still have a home and love to share? Why not consider fostering? All our animals would relish the chance to have the kind of one to one care they could get in real home, and would thrive. Any vet expenses would be met by K9.
